We are looking for a Project Manager with an understanding of digital marketing and web development to join our dynamic and ambitious team across high profile accounts.
Output of this role is to be the trusted hub of projects and to deliver - from start to finish - small to medium projects.
Career Development is typically provided by Associate Program Director but can be adapted to suit an account and/or office location.
Nature of role is that of a 'contributor': here to project manage with independence and proficiency that requires minimal oversight.
Skills Developed
- Organize, document and communicate on increasingly complex projects or numerous projects at the same time
- Understand the ecosystem of an account and where a project (or projects) fits in
- Understand how disciplines work together and know all areas of the project that is executed by the agency
- Speak from a place of ownership for your all projects: know the dependencies, scope, potential risks, budgets, trends of each of them
- Write DSOWS with detail
- Describe the PM process to others including requirement gathering, estimates, team plan, kick off w project team)
Activities Performed
- More and more of the following:
- project documentation, organization and communication with office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
- project documentation, organization and communication within collaboration and issue tracking tools such as Box, Jira, Confluence, Tenrocks, Slack
- Working through dependencies with internal teams and third-party vendors
- Defining and updating project details, workback schedules and budget trackers
- Setting up meetings, capturing notes and inputting information in status documents
- Communicating status updates to project team, Q/A project details
- Communicating day-to-day with clients on project intakes, status and updates
- Identifying and acting on organic account growth opportunities with client services
- Resourcing projects and providing input into long-term resource planning
- Suggesting delivery process/quality improvements
