Position: Permanent (Full-time)
Location: Remote (ideally Cambridge / London based) with some travel to client sites envisaged
Salary: £40K - £50K depending on experience

About the role

Bubble continues to grow rapidly and is looking to strengthen its project delivery team. We are looking for a Project Manager / Implementation Consultant with energy, drive, and commitment, who will ensure we delight every client.

As a skilled Project Manager who can implement our SaaS PPM software for new clients, you’ll be providing a professional and reliable service to all levels within multiple client organisations, building and maintaining excellent client relationships, and delivering projects that configure and deploy our software rapidly and successfully.

As part of the project delivery team, you will work with our clients from day one of the deployment process. You will get to know them well, understand their current ways of working and their goals for the future. Thinking creatively, you will collaborate with other configuration experts in the team to find ways of meeting the clients’ needs.

You will be responsible for planning deployments, gathering and understanding client requirements, translating these into system configurations and training the new user communities.

You’ll thrive in:

  • Becoming a knowledgeable user and skilled configurator of Bubble® PPM software
  • Becoming an expert in different approaches to Project & Portfolio Management
  • Facilitating client workshops and translating requirements into a configuration plan
  • Supporting clients to set up, configure, and pre-populate the software
  • Delivering training to client administrators and users
  • Managing key relationships with blue-chip clients
  • Supporting Account Managers with client presentations and relationships
  • Translating customisation requirements into a brief for Bubble software developers

About you

Ideally you will have:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science)
  • Experience with using Project and / or Portfolio Management Software
  • At least 3 - 5 years’ work experience in a client-facing role
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience running / delivering projects from start to finish
  • The ability to work independently and with others, with drive and initiative
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Facilitation skills (both face-to-face and via web meetings)
  • A good degree of tech savviness (e.g., you can pick up new software easily)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical approach, excellent Excel skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Cross sector experience
  • Experience of software deployment

The following experiences would also be desirable:

  • A keen interest in your subject area (e.g., have or working towards a Project Management certification)
  • Experience of working within a software company
  • Portfolio Management and/or working within a Project Management Office
  • Working within an Innovation and New Product Development environment
  • Experience in any of the following sectors: FMCG/CPG, Food & Beverages, Healthcare & Lifesciences

Energy & Utilities, Govt & Public sector, Aerospace.
