About the Role

This role will be based in a Hybrid/remote working capacity and we are fully supportive of flexible working arrangements.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for managing multiple medium sized projects (up to ~£1 million each); and working on implementing industry best practices to ensure that you can motivate your teams to deliver to customer requirements or business specifications on time, within budget and ensuring that quality remains paramount. Within Siemens, we are focused on creating an optimum environment for our projects to succeed and you will be at the forefront of this within your projects to enable your team to thrive.

Area of Responsibility

  • Managing and delivering projects to Siemens high standards, whilst implementing Project Management methodology (Agile, SAFe, Waterfall)
  • Proactively looking for innovation and implementing best practices across your team
  • Being an active change agent to preserve project plan commitments by proactively identifying changes in work scope and ensuring appropriate planning measures are taken
  • Taking ownership of the core Project success criteria’s and empower your team to deliver the required project deliverables
  • Actively manage Project resources, providing forecasts of resources as needed
  • Responsible for the successful financial aspects of the project (budgeting, billing, forecasting)
  • Creation and maintenance of core Project documentation
  • Working with your technical counterparts to translate customer requirements into clear business objectives
  • Able to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), SAFe Agile certified or similar
  • A proven track record of project delivery is a must: Time Management, Organisational skills, Risk Management, Budgeting, project administration and performance tracking
  • You have an agile mindset, coupled with confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. You enjoy and thrive working and leading a diverse group of individuals
  • An ability to think strategically and tactically through issues that may affect your project and work with your team to resolve issues proactively
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills; ability to craft a narrative
