An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals to join the existing nursing team within the Surgical Unit to deliver care 24/7 in a developing Elective Regional Service. The post holders will work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver and support evidence based, comprehensive, pre and post operative surgical care to patients undergoing elective surgery , including Orthopaedic, Urology, Plastic, Dental, Gynae, ENT, General Surgery and Pain Service patients.
The successful applicants will be based in the Surgical Unit, but may be required to work in other areas of the SRTC or Tayside as and when required to meet the needs of the service.
Applicants must have good communication skills and demonstrate the ability to assess, plan and implement pathways of care for pre and post-operative patients. Previous surgical nursing experience would be advantageous.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register and demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.

Hours of work are: 37.5 Hours. Part time may be considered based on experience.
