Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s biggest social care charities. We have formed an exceptional suite of partners – from the Rugby League World Cup 2021 and UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 events, to working with major multi-national technology companies and leading cultural events. These partnerships aim to create a more inclusive and exciting world for people who access care and support, and enhance the impact and success of our charity.

We are seeing to appoint a Project Manager to help ensure that these programmes are effectively designed, managed and implemented.

This is a varied role where you will work on a diverse range of projects at different stages of their project lifecycle. You will need to work collaboratively to define requirements and make sure that projects are scoped, planned, delivered, and embedded to meet identified aims and success criteria, and report on them as appropriate. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects, and report progress to key stakeholders.

We are looking to appoint someone who can add real value to our project management and design, helping to identify gaps in our thinking and build frameworks to support increasing efficiency and effectiveness in our work. We want someone who can see the detail of all programme elements, but also help us to see the bigger picture of how we can leverage greater value from our body of work.

The role:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong project management methodologies across all our programmes to ensure that they are delivered with impact, on budget and on time.
  • Taking leadership in rationalising and reviewing project concepts, to ensure they are well-timed, effectively planned, and impactful.
  • Embedding frameworks and principles that ensure that our projects and partnerships become increasing efficient and effective, so that we can establish a strong team rhythm and routine.
  • Ensuring that the team implements positive routines for data collection for programme delivery, using our data analysis platforms, and that we properly record the value generated by our programmes and partnerships.
  • Supporting the Partnerships and Communities Team to continue to see the full suite of relationships and assets they have formed, to ensure that we are leveraging and maintaining the value of our existing work.
  • Lead our Evaluation, supported by the colleagues responsible for project delivery, ensuring that we are developing and presenting robust data and testimonials.

  • A proven ability to deliver projects on time / on budget, using project management processes and tools including risk management, benefits management, financial management and quality assurance.
  • A proven ability to apply excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and to work collaboratively to deliver of effective solutions to project related issues.
  • Able to produce, analyse and interpret complex information and present this information in a meaningful and understandable way
  • Insight – Can form principles to support our Partnerships and Communities team to develop more effective, impactful and efficient processes in their project design and delivery.
  • Strong influencing skills - Able to develop and maintain positive relationships with, and motivate, their direct team mates, the departments we partner with cross-functionally and external partners.
  • Excellent ICT skills including the use of project management software and CRM / project analysis software.
