The Joint Reactor Team is made up of members from the Ministry of Defence, BAE Systems and Rolls-Royce to provide a single organisation for enabling reactor build and commissioning.

What you will be doing:
You will manage and develop the Rolls-Royce project team within the Dreadnought JRT providing regular communication, leadership and coaching to deliver a motivated high performing team. Specific focus on developing Integrated Build Planning (IBP) skills in the JRT.
- Work with the BAES and Alliance schedule teams with development and approval of reactor line schedules and ensure dependencies are aligned in BAES and Rolls-Royce executive systems, including the GF toolset to support delivery of equipment from Rolls-Royce
- Hold regular reactor critical path reviews and drive schedule challenges as necessary.
- Develop and maintain an accurate and detailed understanding of the Reactor build BoM and ensure alignment to build.
- Develop a strategy for enabling plans to support T&C and the future multi-boat programme.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive data to support Rolls-Royce, BAES and Alliance reviews and present the information is a simple, balanced, and coherent way. Ensure the Dreadnought build programme is regularly communicated to the wider stakeholder community in Rolls-Royce drawing attention to the significant dependency on the work undertaken by Rolls-Royce. A good knowledge of the Submarines Enterprise and how Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems and the MoD work together to support the Royal Navy. Significant level of personal resilience and persistence. Qualified to degree level or equivalent.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.
