LOCATION: Remote UK based Flexible working with travel as required TYPE: Permanent, Full - time (37.5 hrs per week)

The ‘London Market’ is a complex ecosystem of Brokers, Managing Agents, Syndicates, Companies and Experts, all of which use shared services to underwrite premiums and pay claims. With unrivalled knowledge of mission-critical operations, the London Market Business has over 450 employees helping insurers compete in a changing, more consumer-centric market. Our core business services involve performing checks on insurance documents, processing premium transactions and processing claims transactions.
Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an individual who will be working as part of a dynamic Business Project Management team, on one of the biggest transformation programmes in the world, you’ll be accountable for initiatives which will enable us to deliver our transformation initiatives
- Be accountable for project delivery from discovery to post-live adoption
- Making sure we deliver a quality product, on time, to scope and to budget
- Tracking and reporting project performance to all stakeholders
- Managing, quality, budget, schedule and risk for the lifecycle of your project
- Adhere to the project/programme controls and governance frameworks - Managing resources during the delivery of the project
- Keep our stakeholder informed by ensuring reporting is accurate and monitor against the deliverables.
Doing this in a creative and user centric manner
- Managing RAID logs and ensure mitigation to remove/reduce risk are being actioned - Support in business playback sessions, signs off and ensure all documentation up to date
- Own the backlog of work ensuring it’s driven from a value-based prioritisation process - Identifying opportunities for continual improvement and innovation in our change approach
What you will be doing
- Leads one or more projects
- Assists in managing aspects of larger programs
- Assists defining requirements and designing and implementing project modifications and development
- Recommends changes or alternate paths as appropriate Creates and implements project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for one or more medium sized projects of low to moderate complexity
• Prepares detailed statements of work and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders regarding various project aspects and adjusts accordingly • Participates in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures Assists in the staffing of projects
- Organizes project team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives
- Manages costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables.
- Ensures schedule and budget are met
- Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies possible project risks
- Recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate Works in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of the project
- Provides input on possible changes needed based on current project status Manages client, company, and project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining and providing project metrics
- Recommends changes or alternate paths based upon performance and metrics Oversees assigned personnel for projects
- Assigns work and provides direction about timeliness and completion of project objectives.
Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines
- Provides performance input upon completion of project

- Strong numeracy, verbal, and literacy skills
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Outlook and MS Office
- Work to a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Strong organisational, personal and time management skills to balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven project management experience
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident and motivated
- Strong communications skills to interface with all levels of stakeholders
