As Project Manager, you will be part Be part of the Business Technology Solutions for Vodafone UK. This team is responsible for designing and developing our converged communications solutions, driving efficiency through automation and AI, whilst implementing the solutions directly with our customers. We help thousands of businesses across the country with our connectivity solutions.
What will you be doing?
Sitting in Vodafone UK Professional Services, this Project Manager role is predominantly customer facing and delivering projects for our external customers, these projects will vary in complexity and value, they will include a range of technologies & products produced by Vodafone and our 3rd parties.
This role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of large and/or complex projects and/or sub-projects within a programme, ensuring consistency with best practices, defined processes and methodologies and aligned to Vodafone & Professional Services strategy and goals.
Who are we looking for?
- Demonstrable track-record working as a Project Manager within the Telecoms sector, successfully delivering multiple, large-scale, high value, high-risk projects or programmes.
- Experience of working within an agile and service integration environment, and a variety of customer facing projects.
- A skill of interpreting business plans and business drivers and translating those into project based delivery models.
- Relevant experience of managing Vendor/Commercial relationships, 3rd party partners.
- Robust project governance experience.
- Professional qualification in Project Management, such as Prince2 Practitioner, PMI or MSP and ideally Agile methods.
- Applicants will be required to travel to the customers site on a regular basis.
