Project: A great opportunity for a project manager to join our established healthcare sector within Mace, which is currently experiencing an exciting and sustained period of growth. The existing team has a proven track record of successfully delivering a wide variety of projects of the highest quality. As the project manager, you will work on multiple projects, running complex projects or programmes.

With new projects secured and a strong pipeline of opportunities, we are expanding our healthcare team in consultancy and are recruiting for a project manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing effective communication and liaison with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are identified, assessed and appropriately integrated into the project.

  • Working with the client and reporting to the project director and the senior leadership team, responsible for helping to establish the strategy and delivery for the project.

  • Working with the project lead to develop the client’s brief, delivery strategy and leading the design management, procurement and execution of the scheme.

  • Working as part of a team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.

  • Coordinating, planning and managing internal and external meetings in relation to the project.

  • Providing input into client system safety and project risk assessment and management process.

About you

You have a degree qualification in a relevant discipline and membership of a professional body institute such as RICS, CIOB or APM. You have experience of working on projects within the public sector. Ideally you have experience of contract administration for both JCT and NEC contracts.

You have experience in managing complex projects with public sector clients and thrive on delivering positive outcomes. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and work well as part of a team. You will have experience in delivering projects in a consultancy environment, keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.

Please note that candidates who feel they fall short of the required level of experience are actively encouraged to apply as they will be considered for specific roles or other opportunities within our ever-expanding healthcare team.
