The role:
The role of IT Project Manager will take on the responsibility of delivering our new transport management project taking a particular with focus on implementing new software and technology across our driver devices, track drivers, driver well-fare, telematics, vehicle devices and more.
You will focus on IT project delivery, and will be taking on the end-to-end lifecycle while being responsible for the physical construction and implementation of business solutions. You'll be in our Fresh division and work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Leads and Service Managers.
The IT Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of projects against an agreed cost and timeline in line with a prioritisation set by the business functions
As an IT Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
- Lead, plan and manage IT based Projects that have a huge impact on the business.
- The projects are large scale, big budget & high impact projects for the business and individual.
- Lead the delivery of the full project lifecycle from idea/requirements definition through to transition in to service and benefit realisation
- Ensure the delivery scope is well maintained
- Define & manage an effective Communications Plans
- Ensure project delivery meets governance standards
- Formulate and control project budgets
- Manage & escalate Risks, Issues, Dependencies & Resource constraints
- Manage project stakeholders effectively
- Successfully implement the change into BAU Business Operations and BT Service
You:
As a Project Manager you will have end to end IT Project Management Experience, with extensive knowledge and experience in Agile Methodologies, have experience in SDLC and want to join a well-paced and exciting fast-growing global organisation that provides exciting challenges to tackle!
Required skills and competencies:
- Project Management Experience in the delivery of complex IT projects in a fast-paced/time critical environment
- Extensive experience working in an Operations, Supply Chain, and Merchandising departments of large FMCG businesses (ideal, not essential)
- Management of multiple 3rd party system integrators
- Experience working with offshore developers (ideal, not essential)
- Experience of deploying technologies across multiple sites.
- Experience of delivering projects using Agile & Waterfall methodologies
- Experience of change activities such as stakeholder management and business engagement.
- Detailed understanding of business processes
- Stakeholder management up to the most senior levels
- Strong presentation and communication skills (Various stakeholders)
