Our client is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager on an initial 3 month contract, working on a programme until March 2025.

The successful candidate will have previous experience leading the full Project Management cycle, be Prince 2 / MSP certified and ideally have had exposure to the public sector. Within the role you will working with subject matter expects to lead 2 innovative projects focussing on renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions; managing the complete lifecycle, ensuring the 3rd parties are delivering as per contracts and ensuring the funders receive reports and grant claims amongst others.

Key Tasks

• Creating a mandate for their project that quickly and unambiguously establishes the scope and objectives of their project
• Mobilising the team needed to plan and deliver the project
• Producing and baselining a comprehensive, task-level plan with the team
• Designing and coordinating consultation and engagement with relevant stakeholders
• Maintaining and reporting on a view of progress against plan and budget
