We are currently recruiting Software Project Manager to join our client based in Llanelli. This role will be suitable for a Project Manager with strong understanding of Agile and Scrum, great communication and leadership skills, and motivation to succeed. You know how to navigate complex projects, ensuring they're delivered on time and within budget.
Software Project Manager - Main Duties
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives.
- Define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with the client and internal teams.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project schedules.
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and generate reports for project stakeholders.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
What are we looking for in you?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a software development project manager, successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Teamworks, JIRA, Microsoft Project, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
