You will be responsible for specific projects within the Estates and Facilities Directorate on behalf of the University of Wolverhampton supporting the delivery of the Estates Strategy, particularly associated to passive fire protection and the Fire Inspection Team.
You will be responsible for specific projects within the Estates and Facilities Directorate on behalf of the University of Wolverhampton supporting the delivery of the Estates Strategy, particularly associated to passive fire protection and the Fire Inspection Team.
In this important role, you will be responsible for various projects from concept to completion ensuring that they are delivered to budget and programme, ensuring that the physical environment delivery meets the academic strategic needs.
You will have a proven track record in project risk management, importantly identifying potential risks and managing these throughout the duration of each project.
The allocation of managing resources and the planning and management of project workload for yourself, the Clerk of Works and others within the team will be necessary.
Working within multi-disciplinary teams, in a fast-moving environment, you will need to be highly organised with outstanding attention to detail, have a pro-active approach to challenges, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team-working skills. With responsibility for overall project management from concept to finalisation, you will add substantial benefit to the department.
