Fixed Term Contract - 36 Months From Appointment; Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager to join our team of multidisciplinary experts in online education. Working closely with colleagues from across the University and our global platform partners, you will bring a practical and methodical approach to the project management of online and digital education projects.
Short online courses are a key part of the University’s commitment to community outreach and knowledge exchange. We already partner with top global online learning platforms Coursera, edX and FutureLearn to reach nearly 4 million learners, and are expanding university strategies for online professional short courses and digital credentialing. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of innovative online learning experiences, and to work with some of the world’s largest online learning platforms alongside our own teams of experts.
The Opportunity:
You will help us deliver new learning and teaching technologies by providing excellent project management of multiple projects including the delivery of new business processes, technology and user guidance . You will have excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to establish and guide successful project teams. Working closely with multidisciplinary experts you will develop and maintain project plans, mitigate risks and proactively manage issues. You will maintain all project management documentation and consider your audience and message when communicating project progress.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Demonstrable project management experience with a track record of successful project or change delivery.
- Excellent people skills with experience of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience of developing and maintaining project plans, which mitigate risks and manage issues, so that projects are delivered successfully.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written, with the ability to collate and present information to others.
- Ability to influence and adapt to achieve the best outcomes.
