We have a new project management role in our IT Change team. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop and grow the role. You will be working with various PMs and the PMO to deliver Tysers Strategic Change portfolio for 2023 and beyond. The role is a senior member of the team reporting to the IT Change Director and will manage high profile strategic projects and programmes of work.
One of the first projects for delivery in 2023 is a regulatory portfolio of work – including data protection, product governance and consumer duty. You will work directly with the CRO as sponsor of this project.
Responsibilities
- Accomplish project objectives – deliver on quality, time and budget
- Planning project activities – aligned to business objectives, requirements, priorities and testing
- Budget management and reporting within projects
- Evaluate and manage project progress
- Support the Business Analysts team in their requirements gathering and documentation
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Ensure that project documentation is maintained, and standards are adhered to
- Produce regular status reports and provide written and in-person updates to Key Stakeholders and Steering groups
Job requirements
Knowledge & experience
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment - Lloyds, London and International insurance market knowledge ideal, but not essential.
- Waterfall (Prince 2) / Agile methodologies
- Strong, demonstrable PM experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent report writing and presentation abilities
- Project management skills (including strong time management)
- Ability to communicate at all levels across the business
- Facilitation skills (e.g. meetings, workshops etc.)
- Competent IT skills in Microsoft Office, MS Project
Qualifications
- Relevant project management qualifications – i.e. PMP, Prince 2, Agile, MSP
