About The Role
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience
After several discussion on business strategy, we now have a clear and ambitious plan that we need to deliver.
Historically, projects have been managed by individual teams within the company, however the projects we need to deliver are now larger and more complex. As such, we want to hire an experienced project manager to lead the planning and implementation of multiple projects at the same time. As part of this, we also need your help to create a lightweight but structured process that can be followed every time we deliver a new project.
This is a key role within a smaller, growing business that will provide a varied and interesting role for the right candidate. As the first project manager in our growing team, there is real opportunity to progress as the company grows.
Here's What You Can Expect to Be Doing
- End-to-end management of a variety of technology and business change projects – while many of them will involve the implementation of new technology, each will also involve change to people and processes.
- Establish project scope – lead planning sessions and workshops to ensure all stakeholders have been considered and are aware of the deliverables and success criteria.
- Develop a detailed project plan, working with teams across the business to include all considerations and tasks.
- Oversee the delivery of projects, change and adapt plans as needed to ensure we deliver our objectives within planned timescales.
- Communicate progress and planned next steps to project stakeholders including team members, partners and suppliers.
- Consider risk and issues at each step of the project, mitigate risk and resolve issues as they arise.
- Create a simple, repeatable project management methodology, which can be used to deliver a wide variety of different projects.
- Mentor and train other members of the Trtl team on project management.
About You
- You will be an experienced project manager, comfortable planning and overseeing the delivery of complex business change projects
- Hands on and happy to get stuck into the latest challenge – we are a smaller team and all muck in where needed to get the job done.
- Driven and motivated to deliver – most projects are time critical, and we need to do everything possible to deliver on time.
- Adaptable and able to pick up projects where you may not previously have had experience.
- Experience delivering multiple demanding projects simultaneously – we need someone who is happy and enjoys switching between different priorities.
- Experience translating business goals into practical implementation plans.
- Knowledge of both Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
