Our Electrical Department is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This position presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and are looking to contribute their expertise to a variety of projects.

So, what will you be doing?
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the execution of electrical projects from start to finish. Including planning and executing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving project objectives.

You will also:

  • Plan electrical projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, verifying requirements, and updating cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and work closely with the HSEQ department
  • Manage incoming paperwork from sites, processing completed work onto highlighted drawings.
  • Develop and execute monthly team audit and toolbox talk programs, ensuring all targets are met.
  • Continuously monitor field staff's work progress and efficiency, promptly addressing any issues with the line manager's guidance.

The Person:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience within a Project Manager position, ideally within the Electrical sector.

  • The ability to work under pressure within a deadline-driven environment.
  • A pro-active and hands-on approach, “can-do” attitude.
  • Working knowledge of HV/LV networks underground and overhead line systems
  • Knowledge of new site underground connections and IDNO/DNO connection process.
  • Knowledge and awareness of continuous improvement techniques within new and existing processes.
