Hyde is looking to recruit a Project Manager.

As a Project Manager, you will be working within the Portfolio Management Team to support the Senior Portfolio Performance Manager in identifying and progressing strategic asset management opportunities within the Hyde portfolio to maximise income, improve efficiency, and enhance value.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Senior Portfolio Performance Manager inManaging Hyde’s commercial and community centre portfolio.
  • Assessing alternative uses for non-residential assets and project manage all aspects of any exit / change of use processes, including legal and property due diligence, and internal and external consultation.
  • Supporting the Senior Strategic Portfolio Performance Manager in managing the commercial and non-residential assets within the Hyde portfolio
  • Assisting with lease events including new lettings, rent reviews, and lease renewals.
  • Delivering the lease enfranchisement programme.
  • Supporting the Senior Portfolio Performance Manager to deliver special projects and taking the lead when required.
  • Ensuring accurate and relevant data is captured and maintained on Hyde assets under management at a property, block, regional and portfolio level.

Skills and experience required

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a project management role ideally within housing, asset management or property management or construction.
  • A broad understanding of housing including good knowledge of lease agreements, regulatory compliance, repairs, and asset management.
  • A good understanding of legal matters relating to leasehold, freehold and title registers.
  • Project management qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Good investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to use initiative.
