Onsite Tencent is creating a new User Research lab in central London, and we are seeking a highly motivated Associate to provide research operations support in this new venture. This is an exciting opportunity, and you will play a key role in working closely with our research team to help setup the facility and support the development teams and researchers in all the testing requirements.

• Manage the calendar of booking for the research lab, ensuring resources are available and negotiating availability with the studios.
• Manage the recruitment of research participants and coordination with recruitment agencies.
• Assist researchers with the smooth running of studies by setting up the lab ahead of time, including installing builds.
• Manage participants and provide effective solutions / assistance to researchers during studies.
• Manage the gameplay recordings, ensuring they are made available to the studios.
• Manage participant NDAs and consent forms, deleting all personal data when necessary.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date repository of research findings.
• Help link insights from different studies, including research from other departements.
• Enable the tracking of KPIs for the research team and studios.
• Take part in the improvement of our services through managing projects, building and adapting tools and processes as well as collaborations with other teams.
• Be pro-active in identifying and implementing service improvements, looking at new software and technologies that will help to optimise the efficiency and quality of research.
• Be the key point of contact for the day-to-day support operations of the user research lab.

• You are a keen gamer, up to date with a wide variety of genres and platforms and an understanding of game development process.
• You enjoy managing several concurrent projects at the same time, keeping all parties informed.
• You are a self-starter and are comfortable solving issues as they arise.
• You have a ‘can do’ attitude and able to collaborate and communicate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.

• Experience in project management or operations.
• Familiarity with UX / usability research & methods.
• Experience in IT or software development is an advantage.
