Looking for a Project Manager/ PMO to support a leading banks group Cloud Adoption Strategy, standardising reporting onto cloud technology.
Specifically the role supports the Technical Programme Director and wider Programme managers.
Managing the governance for Cloud Platform and ensuring that reporting is kept up to date. This will include preparing agenda, tracking actions, updating minutes- Ensuring data quality of milestones, risks, issues, and status reports – regular reviews with Programme manager
- Coordination / communication for quarterly programme increment (PI) planning events in support of platform delivery leads
- Consolidating output from PI Planning events
- Tracking of resources allocated to the programme / platform across all Value Streams – support managers with hiring approvals and ensuring funding is secured
- Manage/support process for approval of Third Party spend, vendor management, renewals, tracking of actuals/invoicing
- Reporting of all costs – budgets vs Forecast vs actuals across the platform – support Business manager in monthly reporting, management of resources
Candidates must be comfortable working independently and communicating across a wide range of technical and business stakeholders.
- Previous Financial Institution experience
- Ability to communicate with technical and business representatives across Finance, Change and Technology
- Deep technical knowledge of the applications will not be necessary - but a general understanding of technical deployment is needed
- Ability to co-ordinate teams to achieve the complex delivery of change to key financial systems
- Risk Management and understanding of Risk acceptance processes
Hybrid working with 2-3 days a week in Sheffield
