As our workload on the AMP7 Water Cycle and beyond continues to grow, our Project Management team in Newcastle is looking for an experienced Major Projects/Programme Manager to support the Northumbrian, Essex & Suffolk Water frameworks. We also have opportunities for Project Managers based in London.
As Project Manager you will be working closely with our technical and commercial teams as well as building close relationships with external and internal stakeholders. You will be delivering varied projects through the Feasibility, Design and Construction stages and will ensure that they are delivered on time, to cost and of a high quality.
About you
To be considered for this opportunity you will preferably be degree qualified (or equivalent) and have gained/be working toward Chartership with a relevant professional body. It is also desirable that you have or are working towards an appropriate Project Management qualification such as APM PMQ or PPQ.
You will have experience of project managing major projects, preferably within the utilities sector, though other sector experience will be considered.
Supporting a dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering our client’s needs throughout the delivery stage of the project life cycle. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside our exceptional technical teams which will involve planning, working to stringent timescales, ensuring quality, adhering to budgets and building strong relationships both internally and with the client. As well as this, working closely with the client on and off site will be required to ensure successful project delivery..
