Spinwell is recruiting for a Project Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
- We are looking for a temporary Project Manager to join our small and friendly Programme Management Team, working alongside colleagues on the delivery and implementation of a range of business change and technology-enabled projects and programmes.
- You will lead and support change initiatives, to make a real difference to how we work and support our communities.
- The main purpose of the role is to manage Projects, from initial concept to implementation, ensuring they deliver within budgetary and time constraints, and deliver the outcomes and benefits.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE PROJECT MANAGER
- Project management experience or strong transferrable skills,
- Flexible, focused and who are great problem solvers, to work in a challenging and fast paced environment.
- You should have business analysis and problem solving experience, and be able to work with colleagues to generate solutions, assess competing options, and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Ideally you will already have a Project Management qualification, but alternatively you will be able to gain a qualification once in post.
- As you will work closely with officers, staff and senior leaders, excellent communication skills are essential, to ensure that you are able to influence and motivate others to reach shared goals.
