Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
£22,000 – £26,000 per annum plus benefits
Here at Serco, we are currently recruiting for a Project Co-ordinator to join the team at the James Cook University Hospital. This role will support the Capital Works and Lifecycle management team in the day-to-day delivery of both capital works and lifecycle projects with specific responsibility for the administration of project related services. The post holder will support the services with the production of management information reports to ensure the projects are delivered and executed to the expected quality standards and contractual obligations.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Ensure all Capital Works and Lifecycle project related administration services are delivered and executed to the expected quality standards.
- Liaise with the Estates Management team on project related matters.
- Problem solving with all service teams (hard and soft) to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Carry out tasks for the Capital Works and Lifecycle team to keep projects running smoothly, execute specific stages of a plan and keep tight schedules.
- Active involvement in the Variation process.
- Liaise with the Commercial Manager on variation forms and Lifecycle proformas.
- Conduit between the client and contractors on Capital Works and Lifecycle administration duties.
- Support in ensuring Health and Safety requirements is met, updating inductions, permits and co-ordinating the collation of RAMS.
- Identify, develop, and implement best practice and business improvements on a continuous basis.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Relevant technical relevant knowledge and experience.
- Proficient in the development, use and interpretation of complex spreadsheets and databases.
- Highly developed organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to motivate others.
- Understand team dynamics and the relation of achieving results.
- Ability to negotiate with customers, understanding any specific needs and be able to work effectively and positively.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written to ensure effective communication plans.
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work to deadlines and to manage targets.
