Job description
- Managing projects post Gate 0 (strategic sign off) through the stage gate process to Gate 3 (approval to launch) and launching to the market. This includes running project meetings, managing the critical path, leading risk assessments, and reporting on progress to key stakeholders.
- Leading cross-functional project teams, developing strong working practices and relationships between all functions to deliver the projects on time and in full; functions include marketing, finance, commercial, category, R&D, technical and supply chain.
- Being responsible for providing timely project updates into monthly innovation meetings, including the Innovation Product Review (IPR), Integrated Category Team (ICT) and Steering meetings as appropriate.
- Influencing all project and business stakeholders to ensure project milestones are approved on time.
- 2-3 years project management experience ideally within the FMCG sector. A project management qualification e.g APMP or Prince 2 is desirable.
- Good understanding of the commercial and operational realties of FMCG businesses.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to quickly and appropriately prioritise project tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, the ability to successfully lead and manage cross functional project teams.
- Ability to deal with pressure, tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Able to demonstrate strong numeracy and verbal skills, tenacity and attention to detail.
