Description

Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge sports technology company that is revolutionising the industry? We are seeking an experienced mid-level Digital Project Manager to join our Product team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sports technology. With a recent infusion of investment to expand our SaaS product suite, this is your chance to make an impact in a dynamic and innovative environment.

As a Digital Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and senior stakeholders, to deliver high-impact digital projects from concept to completion. Your servant-leadership style will prioritise the needs of the team, driving progress and delivering value to our customers. This role requires a passion for the digital world and the ability to thrive in an established sports technology business with a start-up mentality.

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of our software products, ensuring successful implementation and launch.
  • Perform the role of a 'scrum master' within an Agile Delivery squad, fostering collaboration and driving efficiency.
  • Effectively manage the project budget, velocity, and resource allocation.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues as they arise.
  • Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with requirements and company strategy.
  • Create and maintain project plans, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance environment that promotes teamwork, knowledge sharing, and delivery efficiency within the team.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience & Expertise:
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience
  • Managing digital projects end-to-end, delivering websites and/or mobile applications
  • Delivering products in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Handling budgets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of web and mobile technology and software development processes
  • Good eye for UX and design
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally internally and externally
  • Outstanding team player with proven ability to lead and facilitate where necessary
  • Strong focus on solutions rather than problems
  • A keen eye for detail
Nice to have but not essential:
  • Experience in documenting requirements (User Stories, Functional Requirements, Acceptance Criteria)
  • Working with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Working on SaaS products
  • Experience in consultancy, sports or a media organisation - bringing a concrete understanding of the key business, technical and operational needs of top sports organisations
  • Passion to improve sport, technology and the fan experience
