I have a new opportunity for Project Manager to join a growing process business who supply their products to an assortment of industries (process, energy & renewables, water). They currently have a work force circa to 40 and the Head of Projects is keen to expand on this for 2022. This position is a newly created role and you will be working with an experienced projects and process team. In return they offer an attractive salary of £45k to £50k with bonus, healthcare.

Responsibilities of the Manager:

• The Project Manager will control expenditure and progress and deliver to a defined plan and within budget
• To source and manage third party (subcontract) suppliers in the optimisation of spend
• To manage technical resource planning and progress
• Provide regular formal updates on progress to clients
• Manage multiple projects in parallel with competing demands on time and resources
• Manage all stages of the lifecycle including design, procurement, factory build, FAT, site installation, commissioning and SAT
• Prepare RAMS documents for factory and site work
• Prepare internal reports on cost and schedule to internal management
• Prepare written proposals in support of new business opportunities
• Raise awareness of companies capabilities with new customers
• Comply with the company's health & safety, environmental and quality management systems

Requirements of the Project Manager:

• Degree in Engineering or related subject
• Experienced Project Manager or Engineer
• Process Plant Engineering background
• Product background needs to be process (Chemical, Energy, Petro-Chemical, Water)
• Understanding of process drawings (P&ID, PFD)
• Prototype Development Experience
• Knowledge of working with pressure systems including twin ferule and cone & thread fittings would be an advantage
• Ability to monitor and maintain control over budgets
