Description Overview
This Artwork & Packaging Project Manager position will work within Perrigo's UK Supply Chain function. Working as part of our Barnsley based team, you will join our existing Pharmaceutical Artwork team, working closely with our Regulatory and internal/external Supply Chain.
The Artwork & Packaging Project Manager is accountable for the execution of multiple, concurrent artwork/packaging & change projects, whilst identifying specific goals and/or issues, proposing course of action, driving initiatives to ensure solid results, and developing and managing detailed project plans. This role will be responsible for ensuring Perrigo UK’s obligations in line with UK Packaging Regulations. The Artwork Project Manager will take on line management responsibility for three direct reports.
Scope of the Role
Some of the key responsibilities you will have include:
- Manage project resources and timelines, ensuring critical path milestones are met, identifying any barrier to work in progress and working with appropriate representatives to mitigate problems.
- Responsible for management of projects to develop/enhance Packaging configurations and Bills of Materials for externally manufactured products, developing solutions that are sustainable and cost-effective throughout the Supply Chain
- Keep all parties apprised as to project status and impact to the business/customers.
- Support the effectiveness of Procurement activities for Redesign & Regulatory driven projects.
- Provide structure, direction and purpose to the Technical Information team
- Responsible for performance management; reporting on KPIs, L&D activities, project progress and offering feedback.
- Supporting Management in building priorities, capacity planning and delegation of work.
Experience Required
Experience leading concurrent projects on change initiatives, targeting improvements to cross-functional processes.- Knowledge of packaging development processes, packaging material types and UK packaging legislation (Shared Producer Responsibility, EPR, Plastic Packaging Tax)
- Experience in artwork management workflow, review & approval platforms would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, writing, verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to lead a project team.
- Previous management/supervisory experience is preferred.
There will be days worked in the office, due to the nature of the role, and days where the role is based from home.
