Oxford Innovation Space has recently taken on a new project; Oxin Innovators is our working title for an App/Desktop based platform developed by Hey Hub (HH) that will link all our 30+ Innovation hubs together in one place. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain some valuable experience in supporting an ongoing project from start to finish. This part-time position will report directly to the Business Support Director.
Oxford Innovation Space’s Innovation Centres division operates a network of centres that provide flexible office, workshop and laboratory space and business support services to companies throughout the UK. Our clients are start-ups, high growth SMEs, investors and also public sector organisations that contract with us to deliver innovation centres and programmes to business. We now manage nearly thirty centres across the UK for a variety of public and private sector clients, providing space and support to nearly 1000 exciting, innovative and growing companies.
This role is part-time, working 18.75 hours per week. Happy to discuss a suitable working pattern at interview. The role is also hybrid, with a view to attend our Centre in Colchester, (Innovation Centre Knowledge Gateway (ICKG)) one day per week.
Major objectives of the role:
- Profile and Reputation: Support the Business Support Director to create a successful community platform, regionally and nationally by marketing our offering whilst enhancing its reputation for excellence
- Operational Excellence: Deliver a market leading service for our community with support and collaborative connections.
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service levels supporting the Business Support Director with control and accountability for elements of the platform. Supporting centre teams, customers and ensuring operational processes are implemented and adhered to
- To provide administrative assistance to the Oxin Innovators platform in the operations, financial and commercial elements of the platform to optimise performance
- To provide a direct link with HH to ensure successfully running of the platform

- Salary of £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, per annum, pro rata
