Senior Project Manager - IT Security - Delivery
Are you interested in managing a transformation portfolio that requires a hands-on, delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to come in and manage an end-to-end IT Security project to procure new managed IT Security services and complete the transition into operations for a leading FS client?

Based in London/Remote (2-3 days in the office) we have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who will work closely with other managers, staff and suppliers in the IT Department and business areas, developing working relationships to implement the project initiatives.
You will interact with stakeholders of all levels who have a wide range of knowledge of IT and business, from technical IT teams to senior business managers, to coordinate and manage work packages, define priorities and deliver the agreed project outputs. You will also be a key contact point for the project and matrix manages internal resources and external consultants on project implementations.
You will need to ensure the project delivers the agreed outputs within the specified constraints of time, cost and quality. Working with internal stakeholders, 3rd parties and vendors to manage and coordinate the delivery of these defined outputs.
You will manage the delivery of one or more projects, from initiation, through definition and procurement, build, test and live deployment, to project closure, ensuring that the projects deliver the agreed outputs within the agreed constraints of time, cost and quality.
Key Skills required:
- 8+ years' experience as a Delivery focused, hands-on Senior project manager with a proven track record of delivering successful procurement and transition of managed IT Security services.
- Experienced at global large-scale / multi-site complex technical IT Security projects
- Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale procurements
- Good Technical understanding on a global scale of:
- Managed IT Security Services providers
- Security tooling including endpoint protection, SIEM, EDR
- Cloud security services
- Good understanding and implementation of the IT Security environment, policies, guidelines and standards, including ISO 27001/2, NIST, CIS, CSA CCM.
- Competent in project change management
- Ability to operate sensitively and effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong business and IT stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills, verbal & written
- Management of external service providers
- Understanding of working with procurement and internal service teams
- Budget and financial management experience must have managed budgets up to £5M
- Agile and Waterfall delivery methods and Principles
- Strong Stage gate governance methods and principles
