Project Manager
Executive Summary
You will be joining Oodle's Transformation team. This is a dynamic, agile team that is at the heart of Oodle – we bridge the gap between technical and operational teams to create tailored solutions to drive Oodle towards its growth targets.
Role Description
As a Project Manager you will be supporting the Head of Business Transformation to deliver strategic programmes of work that drive organisational efficiency, effectiveness, cost reduction and value optimisation. You will have the opportunity to lead both business-wide & function specific projects of work, to help Oodle deliver against its strategy. It is important that you can both dive into the complexity and detail of operational running of the business, while still being able to clearly articulate strategic problems and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver strategic projects end-to-end, to support Oodle's growth plans
- Work with senior business stakeholders to define & document the scope and target outcomes of key projects, to ensure alignment to Oodle's overall objectives
- Create detailed project plans - involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring operational & technical feasibility and timelines
- Conduct day-to-day maintenance of project plans & provide status updates for the senior leadership teams on key initiatives across the business
- Identify risks and issues associated with strategic projects, suggest appropriate mitigants and escalate where appropriate
- Support the Head of Business Transformation in managing and running Oodle's core delivery update meetings & quarterly planning events
- Design and facilitate workshops and working groups to elicit feedback from stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and enhance project management best practices
- Undertake project interventions as necessary to support successful delivery
- Help to ensure that all initiatives operate in line with Regulatory requirements and within the business's agreed risk appetite
Core Skills
- Minimum of 3 years working in a project management role
- Experience in developing project plans and their execution
- Worked across the full lifecycle of a project in both structured and agile environments
- Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and showing flexibility in the approach to Strategy, Transformation, and Business Analysis
- Strong stakeholder management experience working with Operations, Technology, and other Business leaders
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail; capable of synthesizing and summarizing complex data or findings to drive decision making
- Able to manage your own time, be pro-active and follow tasks through to completion
- The ability to work under pressure and to strict timelines
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Location: Oxford or London – with some home working
Reporting Structure: Reporting to the Head of Business Transformation
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday
