Job description
Our public sector client is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager on an initial 6 month basis, working remotely.

£465 per day – 6 months
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Project Manager working on Cost Saving projects, and ideally have worked within the public sector. You will be experienced in business case development, service redesign and ideally have had exposure to a political environment.

Key duties
- Set up both pieces of work as standalone projects, including defining project governance arrangements , implementing meeting pulse, and stakeholder management/comms plan
- Bringing together and mobilising a muti-disciplinary project team from clients services including Finance, Legal, Property, IT, the service areas themselves
- Keep track of both project’s progress and ensure milestones are met, working within budget constraints
- Reporting to key stakeholders, particularly each project’s executive and sponsor.
- Developing options and evaluating these, in collaboration with the service area and with input from other professionals
- Translate recommended options into costed delivery plan
- Owning development of the business case
- Support the service to take the business case(s) for approval
