This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to develop and support a new collaborative programme of work across Acute Services for Prehabilitation & ERAS. This workstream has been identified as a key priority in the Scheduled Care recovery plan for 2023/24.
The project manager will scope the project by establishing a baseline through review of existing activities in Prehabilitation and ERAS, assessment of context at a national and regional level, and building a network to form a steering group to lead the work programme.
The ambition for this post is to create a centralised co-ordinated programme of work for both Prehabilitation and ERAS with a prioritised implementation plan. It will also provide an opportunity to review, where appropriate, existing pre-operative assessment processes.
This post will work a number of stakeholders closely involved in Scheduled Care Recovery for NHS Lothian. The full list of internal and external stakeholders will be mapped out by the project manager and updated on an ongoing basis.
