About the Trust
Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust (HCT) is the principal provider of community-based healthcare services to the 1.2 million population of Hertfordshire. The Trust is rated as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission.

What you’ll be responsible for:
· Develop strong working relationships and networks with key stakeholders including those in the operational services, the estates team, IT team and external companies and providers.
· Provide plans that adhere to project management methodology to ensure that all necessary actions are in place to deliver the projects aims and milestones.
· Present projects and outcomes to governance and board committees as required, evaluating success and providing options for continuation, development or cessation of projects as appropriate.
· Work with the Medical Devices manager and service leads to gain a comprehensive understanding of current processes, exploring options for the transformation of processes if required, which promotes effective servicing, repair and procurement of essential medical devices.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Ability to think and plan strategically and creatively.
· Skills to translate project plans into achievable operational actions.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Experience of managing or working with operational services covering a range of services.
· Experience of building effective relationships with commissioners and other key stakeholder.
