Project Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well known contractor working on a large water infrastructure programme throughout the Yorkshire Region.
The company is a well established contractor who working for a number of clients within the Utilities and Highways sector . Your role as Project Manager you will be joining the operational team proving your technical ability and business acumen joining the water team.

Key responsibilities for this Project Manager role:
· End to end project management starting from inception stage, taking the project through various stages through to handover
· You will hold budgetary control, forecasting project expenditure and monitoring programme performance, while ensuring effective delivery
· Responsible and accountable for the delivery of project on time and budget
· Managing and overseeing the production of outline and detailed designs, reports, draings, tender documents, specifications etc
· Programmes
· Manage project budget and forecast
· Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives
· Ensure project management plan is developed and regularly updated
· Ensure work procedures are complaint with design, project management and quality plans
· Change
· Manage subcontractors and suppliers
· Lead teams
· Health and safety
· Manage risk
· Client facing
Experience required for this Project Manager role:
· Experience in a similar role
· Ideally water/utilities experience
· Civil Engineering experience or qualification
· HND, HNC would be advantageous
· Project Management qualification is desirable
· Experience in design and build projects
· Strong communication skills are required
· Full UK driving licence
Package offered for this Project Manager role:
- Basic salary of up to £60,000
