Project Manager:
A well-established residential building and refurbishment contractor is looking to add a hardworking experienced project manager. The successful project manager will join a close-knit team specialising in luxury residential one off builds and refurbishment projects throughout central London.
The company has a good pipeline of works and are offering a permanent, stable and long-term opportunity with great support and development prospects.
You will be taking projects from Pre - construction to handover whilst working in some of London’s most prestigious areas. Projects range from £500,000 - £2 + million and are usually High-End Residential renovations / Refurbishments.
The successful refurbishment project manager will be based in London moving between several sites. The main office is located in Beckenham and some office days will be required.

The role includes but not limited to:
- Identifying problems and offering solutions.
- Development of Tender, Procurement and Construction Programmes
- Ensuring the project stays on time and within budget.
- Reporting both internally and externally on budget, programme, site issues and progress.
- Creating and tracking RFIs / Variations
- Working alongside directors and quantity surveyors for valuations
- Experience with Bespoke Joinery, Stone and bathroom fit outs essential
- Reviewing labour and resource throughout the project duration.
- Working closely with the Site Manager or independently ensuring program and quality are controlled.
- Co-coordinating and managing the design drawings and process. Highlighting discrepancies and setting out issues
- Liaising with specialist consultants, external contractors and suppliers to ensure targets and objectives are hit.
- Attending / Chairing subcontractor pre-start, coordination meetings, design team meetings and client meetings.
- Full compliance with all policies, legislation, regulations and procedures.
- Reporting regularly to management and client on progress and the delivery of the project to the required standard.
- Monitoring site operative performance and ensuring budgets are met.
Essential Requirements for the Role:
- Excellent construction knowledge – from structural, roofing, carpentry/ joinery, through to M&E and finishes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 5 years minimum experience
- Full knowledge and understanding of all stages of the development plan process.
- Track record of delivering or advising on complex construction and development works.
- Experience in leading projects from design through to construction stages
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £33,283.93-£76,594.14 per year
