WFH position

Our client is looking for an innovative, forward-thinking project manager, driven by a logical and methodical approach.

Essential skillset:

  • 2 - 3 year’s work experience in a Project Management role
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and motivate high-performance teams (both in-house and remotely) in the structure of a shared resource environment and meet critical requirements with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Diverse experience in all aspects of project management, business analysis, project methodologies, strategic planning, risk management and budgeting with the ability to communicate in technical terms with IT professionals and work directly with other employees and customers to explain projects in an understandable manner to ensure projects run smoothly
  • Ability to form and manage Project Teams across a range of locations
  • Ability to build and maintain close working relationships with the Operation, DevOps, Programme, Research and Development and Support teams to ensure a common understanding of cross-functional projects, automation opportunities, and efficiency blockers
  • Ability to conduct business analysis to establish the nature and extent of the technology and business process changes that will be required to fulfil primary business objectives
  • Experience in creating high-quality project, feature, and release documentation
  • Experience in implementing JIRA workflows and reporting, analysing backlogs, setting up and facilitating daily stand-up meetings, reviews, estimations, sprints, and demos

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accountability and ownership of the assigned projects to determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for individual projects or initiatives
  • Working with the assigned Solution Architect, DevOps team member and the Manager of the Delivery team to ensure that all required tasks are correctly captured, estimated, and transferred into a project plan
  • Develop and manage a detailed project plan to track progress and feedback
  • Create, monitor, and track effective project records, such as risk logs, issues logs and project plans to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients’
  • Establish good working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure appropriate project teams are informed to meet the project goals and objectives
  • Hold and participate in regular meetings and update on project status to both internal management and customers.
  • Regular interaction and reporting to the Senior Management including escalation of any arising issues or challenges which may compromise delivery
  • Managing the task management tool (JIRA)
