We at James Ray Recruitment are working with an establish manufacturer who are recruiting for a Project Manager. Our Client is a leading food manufacturer with a turnover circa £1.9bn and had over 44 sites globally.

The role

As a Project Manager you will be coordinating projects, ensuring the implementation runs smoothly. You will also align their business strategies and objectives to the project. Collaborating with engineers and skilled professionals, you'll lead and guide the team to maximize productivity and deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, track progress, and milestones.
• Implement effective verification techniques to manage changes.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as required.
• Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Produce monthly status reports.

Skills and Experience Required

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Food processing) ideally.
• Professional Engineering Qualification.
• Prince training or equivalent is considered an asset.
• Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in managing capital projects and teams.
• Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• AutoCAD skills preferable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detailed working knowledge of CDM regulations and PUWER requirements.
