Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to help lead the implementation and development of the Salesforce CRM platform within IMI Precision Engineering. As a key member of the Programme Management team, the CRM Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery and success of product design and development of the Salesforce solution. This role will require the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels within the organisation, engaging teams from within business units, IT and third-party implementation partners to drive success against tight deadlines and scope. The candidate will be able to work with both business process and technical delivery teams to enable our business to scale our technology capabilities to support and improve customer experience. The candidate will have the opportunity to work more widely within the Customer Experience team to learn and develop knowledge of the business capability and CX required to succeed as a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities
§ Own the planning and execution of product delivery for the Salesforce platform, as part of an established methodology through all phases of the development and deployment of the solution
§ As part of the Programme Management team, establish and maintain priorities to ensure that the product vision is maintained in accordance with business requirements
§ Balance the delivery between product development and business change, working closely with both the technical delivery and change management teams to ensure that all aspects are aligned
§ Work with cross-functional teams to manage the translation of business requirements into user stories, aligning test scenarios to prove that the solution is fit for purpose
§ Manage risks, actions, issues and decisions, escalating quickly to ensure timely resolution and quality
- Support the management of change and adoption workstream as part of the overall delivery
§ Establish a close working relationship with the technical teams to support the enforcement of delivery standards and ensure that the solution is as close to Salesforce standard as possible
§ Manage the transition from delivery, through hypercare, to operational support, enabling a clear handover between teams to achieve consistent and high-quality ownership of the solution at all stages
§ Manage reporting of project delivery against agreed KPI’s, validating progress and quality with and evidenced approach
§ Working as part of the wider CX team, support the vision for the ideal customer and employee experience
Critical Competencies for Success
- Proven track record of project management, with an experience of managing at least 3 significant solution deployments of CRM or equivalent products
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, AgilePM or Scrum Master equivalent)
- Experience with transformational programs, supporting change management for multiple stakeholders in a global environment
- 3 to 5 years’ experience of creating and writing effective Agile based user stories, creative briefs, formal business requirement documents with a willingness to develop skills further to champion the methodology
- Prior experience of Salesforce solution delivery
- Ability to manage competing priorities and juggle workload based on business priority and required outcomes
- Strong sense of urgency, to motivate teams to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive technically complex projects, while maintaining the ability to translate the requirements into a simple user experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings/insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-driven with high customer empathy and a strong focus on execution
