The role of the Project Manager is to be a dependable team member who is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading the deployment of projects. A single point of contact who maintains regular communications with the internal and external project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

As a trusted technical resource, with specialization in the installation of Audio Visual Systems, the Project Manager is to leverage their Audio Visual background to help deliver a positive customer experience.

Project Deployment and Management

  • Single point of contact responsible for client communications, sign-offs, approvals, progress reports, formal paperwork, and coordination with third party firms (design partners, trades, etc.)
  • Review all project related documentation to develop an implementation plan with milestones, resources and client coordination requirements
  • Utilization of ConnectWise to execute a project plan, schedule and assign resources, and track and manage the deployment of a project
  • Utilization of ConnectWise to communicate with Procurement and Logistics for tracking and managing materials and equipment
  • Utilization of ConnectWise to manage the RMA process
  • Lead project kick-off meetings to ensure team members are informed about the project details and all internal and client coordination efforts are identified
  • Accountable for task assignment, coordination of all required personnel to execute and follow up to ensure completion
  • Site verify and document quality of all installation and programming work at milestone checkpoints according to defined project plan
  • Implementation of the hitplay process and quality standards as it relates to the installation, system commissioning and onboarding client to the Care program
  • Lead project Lessons Learned Meeting, involving key personnel from the Business Development, Engineering/Programming and Integration to share best practices, identify starts/stops, and improve future project delivery
  • Track KPI related data: all project labour, labour expenses, and rework & return trips. Provide a close out summary to the management team upon project completion
  • Approve time sheets and invoices for all resources assigned to the project
  • Complete an efficient handoff from Integration to Care to help ensure there are no gaps in the customer experience
  • Develop and maintain relationships in the industry to improve hitplay’s competitive position in the market place

Process Improvement

  • Standards - Review and provide regular feedback and insight to improve Project Deployment Process and associated SOPs
  • Deployment – Review and provide regular feedback and insight to improve the utilization of ConnectWise and Brightgauge
  • Training - Educate team members to improve overall team capability
  • Efficiency - Work with the management team to implement technology tools to improve productivity, efficiency and to improve hitplay’s competitive position in the market place

Team Development

  • In conjunction with the Operations Manager, provide feedback and experiences to assist with developing the integration team make up, head count and subcontractors to meet business needs and allow for the natural peaks in work load
  • Empower employees and contractors, ensure accountability and manage individual performance. Embrace a constant feedback review model for performance management
  • Develop open lines of communication and promote a supportive culture

Administrative

  • Schedule and manage Project Deployment through ConnectWise
  • Prepare and confirm contracts with sub-contractors
  • Approve timesheets and invoices from sub-contractors
  • Participate in special projects as required
  • Although the job is Toronto based, hitplay does take on projects outside Toronto a few times a year. Periodic travel is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
