Project Manager – City of Wesminster Council
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for a new role?We’re looking for the right candidate for a full-time role, on a 6 month+ contract for the City of Westminster Council.
**Interviews will be held face-to-face at City Hall on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd March**
Pay: £250+ per day (negotiable dependant on experience)
Hours: 37.25 per week
You will need…
- Strong experience in the social/council housing planned maintenance work
- Professional qualification(s) (MRICS/MCIOB or similar)
- Familiar with traditional and partnering/measured term contracts • Knowledge (or preferred experience) of working within Section 20 Landlord & Tenant Act legislation
- The ability to negotiate, work closely with contractors, key stakeholders, colleagues, internal departments and political figureheads.
Your key responsibilities will be…
- Taking the lead on delivering prominent currently ongoing planned maintenance housing construction schemes in Westminster with combined values of circa £10m.
- Capture and record KPI performance data relating to any relevant Task Order(s) and provide reports to Managing Client Representative.
- Ensure the prompt assessment and/or agreement of any Service Provider(s) time and/or cost of proposals set out in any Service Provider Change Submission,
- Ensure Service Providers manage projects (Tasks) in accordance with Quality, and Inspection and Test Plans prepared for individual projects and excellent standards of workmanship are delivered.
