With our recent £300 million investment we are looking to grow our Design team, who are responsible for all planning and design activities associated with toob’s FTTP network design. The team focus on producing a high-quality technical design that contains enough detailed and validated information about a planning area to give increased confidence in build and cost accuracy.
We are looking for a proactive, organised, and self-driven Coordinator to raise and progress orders with OpenReach. You will, on occasion, travel to locations in Surrey and Hampshire towns to take photographs of damaged or missing infrastructure that are required to place orders with OpenReach.
As our Telecoms PIA Coordinator you will be:
- Placing Orders with OpenReach for Network Adjustments
- Tracking & reporting the progression of orders
- Attending site to lift chamber covers to audit the interior
- Attending site to take photographs of OpenReach (OR) infrastructure
- Responding to queries and requests from across the business to support delivery
- Management of NOI’s, informing OR of our intent to use their infrastructure
- Submission of Whereabouts, informing OR where our teams will be working in their network
- Maintain positive working relationships with external contractors.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Drive and the ability to work autonomously
- A proactive, positive manner and consistent in approach
- Fantastic administration and workload management skills
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- You’ll be keen to continually increase the value that can be added by the role and the team
- The ability to use initiative and excellent attention to detail
- Competent or advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
- Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle (Site visits will be travel expensed)
- Experience working with OpenReach products and/or FTTH deployment would be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite
- Hold or willing to work towards gaining SA002 UG safety accreditation
- Have the right to work in the UK without restriction.
