Job Summary
As a Marketing Project Specialist, this role will be focused on providing operational support in marketing, merchandising, communications, and promotions from concept to completion for multiple service touchpoints. This role will also work collaboratively with internal and external groups to bring programming to life - from community events, on-site and virtual activations, branding, customer feedback, communications copy, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Operations, Culinary, and other Marketing team members to execute projects from beginning to end.
- Support the marketing department’s initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as event, promotions, social media, and content marketing.
- Collaborate with Hospitality in marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and ordering marketing collateral.
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, and testing.
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice.
- Assist with developing and managing content on websites.
- Conduct market research and identify trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Design or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in marketing in a high profile, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Adobe CC program applications
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as copywriting and proofreading skills
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- High level of creativity
- Occasional travel may be required
