Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new Project/Installations Manager to effectively manage and coordinate their warehouse projects across the UK. Responsibilities
· Managing & Overseeing installers/subcontractors onsite
· Creating & issuing RAMS and ensuring Health & Safety is well adhered to
· Coordinating and managing labour & plant
· Use AutoCAD to understand layout designs
· Ensuring project runs smoothly from start to finish
· Liaising with an internal administrator and field sales team to ensure customer’s racking & storage requirements are met
Requirements
Racking & storage experience is highly preferable but the company would also consider shopfitting, partitioning or mezzanine experience. It is crucial that you have experience of working on site, having managed subcontractors and overseen racking installations projects in addition to H & S. Experience of document flow, organizing plant/labor and dealing with RAMS would be highly preferable. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in the North of England since the majority of projects will be there.

Having had particular success via the builder’s merchants network, they provide various products to include racking & shelving, storage boxes & shop displays. Due to growth plans, they now require a new Project/Installations Manager to assist and improve their overall company infrastructure and support.
