Position Title: Agile Delivery Project Lead
Position Location: 5600 West 83rd Street, Suite 300, Bloomington, MN 55437
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
Position can be performed from anywhere in the US.
- Supports and guides multiple software engineering teams through transformative change by integrating Agile and Lean principles into team practices and work products
- Develops an understanding and encouragement of teams' engineering innovation and improvement practices (Engineering, Product Ownership, Quality, DevOps, etc.)
- Innovates through experimentation and utilizes team feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity while always working with teams to continuously improve
- Serves as a SME for Agile methodologies and coaches teams to improve collaboration and self-organization through an attitude of empowerment.
- Partners and collaborates with operational leaders across the entire enterprise to devise and ensure consistent and complimentary cross-functional product delivery teams, processes, and practices
- Coordinates and leads Program Increment (PI) planning events
- Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress. Communicates with leaders across the organization on a regular basis to ensure transparency into delivery risks, dependencies, and other issues
- Participates in strategic planning efforts related to organizational improvement of Agile delivery, contributing to the product vision as defined by the executive team and product management, and overall release timelines
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. 5 years' experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team using Agile/Scrum principles and practices.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
1. JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint for creating individual/group dashboards, making user stories
2. PSPI (Potentially Shippable Product Increment)
3. Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) in test-centric development
4. Agile Techniques – Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Testing, Pair Programing and Agile Games
5. Onshore/offshore handover using GIT
