Job Title: Project Manager

Contract Type: Full-Time

We are a rapidly expanding property development company seeking an innovative and accomplished Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role by overseeing and directing key projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and extensive knowledge of property development procedures. The Project Manager will work with various experts, like designers, engineers, contractors, and officials, to guarantee the effective execution of projects within budget, timeline, and quality guidelines.

Main Accountabilities:

Project Planning and Approach:

  • Build project plans, encompassing scope, aims, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Formulate project methodologies to ensure productive and proficient implementation.
  • Perform feasibility analyses, risk evaluations, and cost-benefit studies for prospective projects.
  • Partner with stakeholders to characterize and align project goals with business objectives.

Project Delivery and Tracking:

  • Coordinate and oversee all elements of project delivery, guaranteeing adherence to sanctioned plans.
  • Administer project budgets, assets, and timetables to ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor project advancement, identify potential concerns, and develop mitigation tactics.
  • Regularly communicate project status, hazards, and milestones to stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead project teams, encompassing designers, engineers, contractors, and other experts.
  • Cultivate a cooperative work setting, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Designate tasks, provide guidance, and confirm team members have the necessary resources to excel.
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide feedback to team members.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Create strong associations with clients, contractors, vendors, and government authorities.
  • Team up with legal, regulatory, and compliance groups to guarantee projects satisfy all prerequisites.
  • Negotiate agreements, administer vendor associations, and assure timely payments.
  • Address any stakeholder concerns or problems promptly and skillfully.

Quality Assurance and Risk Management:

  • Build and implement quality guarantee procedures to produce high-quality projects.
  • Direct regular examinations and guarantee compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Identify and mitigate project hazards like budget overruns, delays, and legal concerns.
  • Implement strategies to enhance project performance and reduce potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in property development, with a track record of directing complex projects successfully.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum or AgilePM Certifications are an advantage.
  • In-depth understanding of property development procedures, including design, construction, permitting, and codes.
  • Strong leadership talents, with the capability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management competencies, with a discerning eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities to interact with stakeholders at all tiers.
  • Skill with project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations linked to property development.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £32,145.20-£55,000.00 per year
