This exciting role is within the newly formed European Spirits Category, Innovation & Brand Change team which delivers projects across a diverse brand portfolio for Diageo Innovation and Global Brand Teams. European Spirits Category, Innovation & Brand Change is set up to deliver Innovation, Renovation, Limited time offerings & VAP across a range of iconic brands including Smirnoff, Tanqueray, Captain Morgan, Gordons and Ciroc.

About the role
As a Project Manager in Brand Change, you’ll efficiently delivery Brand Change projects through Global Supply Chain & Procurement to satisfy customer briefs in terms of quality, cost and time.
In this role your key accountabilities will be:
- Project Management of Brand Change projects to deliver required activities (ranging from Innovation & Redesign projects to small scale packaging change & VAP), to agreed cost, quality and time committed.
- Supports Brand Change Team Leader in leading the project pipeline in conjunction with key partners (inside and outside of wider Brand Change teams) and reports Key Performance Indicators and Brand Change metrics.
- Lead the Diageo Customer Interface to maximise satisfaction
- Ensure the application of required project planning, budgeting, tracking, reporting and partner communications processes to demonstrate required rigour of project management.

In terms of qualifications and experience you’ll have the following:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent, ideally in a technical area.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, being capable of developing sound working relationships.
- Sound people co-ordination and management ability.
- Institute of Packaging Diploma or equivalent, or commitment to train for same.
- Strong project management skills with sound knowledge of a wide range of packaging materials and processes including:
- Liquid development and commercialisation
- Artwork specification and management
- Reprographics process
- Design and development of packaging and materials
- Materials manufacturing and due diligence
- Materials handling, transportation and transit robustness
- Risk Management practices and techniques
- Ability to develop sound understanding of International Supply Centre Technical and Brand Change processes and Ways of Working.
- Ability to develop sound understanding of Navigate process.
- Commercial/Marketing, Financial and Supply Chain awareness.
- Excellent organisation, report preparation, and presentation skills.
