Macmillan Crossroads Volunteer Service
Full Time 37 hours per week
Salary £32,000 - £34,000 per annum DOE

Due to promotion we now have a brilliant opportunity for the right person to take responsibility for the strategic oversight of the Macmillan Crossroads volunteer project with geographical teams across Kent and Medway helping people living with cancer, their Carers and supporters
The role is full time 37 hours per week, you would be managing the brand by representing at high level presentations, conferences and sessions. You would be identifying potential partnerships and developing relationships with senior contractors, undertaking promotion activity and strategic work, writing bids and bringing in funding and would be working closely with Macmillan and Crossroads Care Kent colleagues.
We need someone with a strategic approach, project management and development experience, who has compelling bid or contract writing skills, engaging communication and presentation skills, initiative and the ability to seek new opportunities and build and retain relationships. You will need to be passionate about the service and its aims, eager to speak up and promote at every opportunity and share that same enthusiasm throughout your team in all aspects of your people management.
As well as high level networking and communication skills, the right person for this role will have effective people management skills to manage teams across two sites, with integrity and confidence. A commitment to and knowledge of equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity is crucial - with a non-judgmental, caring approach to people of all backgrounds.
This key role is based in our Beltinge office, but regular travel will be required across two sites, and Kent and Medway to build networks, attend events, deliver presentations - so a full driving licence and use of own car is essential.
