Project Manager
£50,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contributions and private healthcare (Work Level 5)

We’re now working in a hybrid way, with colleagues dividing their time between home/remote working and the office. We’re looking for a project manager to join us at Co-op and help to deliver big transformation projects across our organisation. You’ll work with colleagues and teams all over Co-op to make sure everything is in the right place at the right time.
As a project manager, you’ll work on exiting initiatives that span the length and breadth of the business. If you have the project management experience and the excellent relationship building skills that we’re looking for, we can offer you the opportunity to have a positive impact on the way we do business for our members, customers, and communities.
What you’ll do
- carry out end-to-end management of a number of large-scale business projects
- support the project management community by providing leadership, coaching, and training
- undertake risk management for all projects, highlighting and reporting any potential risks
- make sure plans are robust and changes are delivered to a high standard
- engage with the project and programme leads, communicating updates, issues, and risks to senior leaders and the exec team
- manage and build relationships across the wider business
- lead improvement initiatives to benefit the service provided by the project management practice
This role would suit people who have
- previous project management experience, managing end-to-end, complex business change and transformation projects
- excellent relationship-building and transformation skills
- an awareness of multiple methodologies and some experience in project delivery
- the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
- the ability to lead diverse teams on a matrix management basis
- an industry recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) would be beneficial
