Job description
Main purpose of the role:
o To support the business growth ambitions by delivering successful projects through their full lifecycle within the European CAPEX team, on time and in budget, through the stage gate process.
o To be a proud and professional representative of the European CAPEX team by working closely with site operational teams and supporting functions to deliver business success
o Deputise for the European Engineering Project Manager
Main accountabilities:
1 Project management of set projects throughout the year from concept to completion, leading cross functional teams for successful delivery.
2 Support the development of potential solutions to each project problem statement
3 Ensure all reporting responsibilities are complete and accurate within recurring deadlines
4 Deliver weekly updates on project progress, wins, challenges, budget and maintain good communication with stakeholders relevant to each project.
5 Manage and escalate project risk appropriately, clearly and concisely to European Engineering Project Manager & European Manufacturing Director (where applicable)
6 Contribute improvement suggestions within the CAPEX team to better team/process/visibility/performance
7 Develop genuine and mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues from across Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance communities
8 Attend/lead/coordinate project meetings, issue minutes and ensure all agreed actions are implemented.

· Ensure that the area in which you are working is safe for yourself and others who may be working nearby and that you comply with your responsibilities in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy.
· Report any accidents/near misses immediately to the Health and Safety Advisor or your Direct Line Manager.
· Maintain good housekeeping within your work area
· Ensure the welfare of employees under your control
Key Characteristics:
Experience & Knowledge
· Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects within the food & drink industry (FMCG environment)
· Proven ability to deliver multiple projects concurrently
Education/Professional Qualifications/Training
· University graduate / time served engineer with post qualification experience in managing projects (as outlined above)
· Professionally certified (PMP or equivalent)

· Highly organised individual with correct
· Able to work to varying levels of detail, dependant on stage of project life cycle
· Ability & drive to learn from a variety of sources – incl. experience of others, research, further education, YouTube etc.
· Commercial awareness

Working environment & physical demands
· Office based with some WFH flexibility
· Required on site during critical project phases
· Ability to travel to sites around the European business unit to support and deliver projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
