Salary: £38,313 per annum
This is a great opportunity to work at a social science specialist university as a Project Manager on a 12 month contract. The role combines project and stakeholder management responsibilities to deliver a virtual learning environment for one of our client’s programmes.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain all necessary project documentation, including project initiation documents, project plans, communication plans, risk register, stakeholder maps and budgets
- Report progress to the Project Board on a regular basis
- Actively monitor and manage risks as the project progresses and ensure development work progresses according to plan
- Be responsible for financial and contractual elements of the project
- Manage the relationships with Stakeholders and their expectations
- Work closely with Faculty to understand and document their requirements and expectations, and provide them with support and guidance as they develop course content
- Build networks with key decision-makers and influencers at all levels to ensure efficient implementation of plans and processes
- Ensure stakeholders are kept updated on project progress, providing regular updates to senior internal stakeholders and the project board
- Proactively address any tensions that may arise due to conflicting deadlines or other deliverables
Project Manager Essentials:
- Project Management experience
- Leading and delivering a project

- Higher education experience desirable, but not essential
